Aluminum bronze is a patented hard grade aluminium bronze. Its exceptional hardness makes it a unique material. However, this extreme hardness means fragility and machinability difficulties. This alloy has very limited uses and machinability, but it gives exceptional results.
Aluminum bronze alloy has good wear resistance, fatigue resistance and high ductility to meet the needs of cold working, and is suitable for medium-condition working environments.
APPLICATIONS:
Stainless steel drawing dies, forming rolls under great stresses and extreme pressures are the most typical applications for this alloy.
Aluminum bronze can meet the strict requirements of the aircraft industry. It has higher physical properties, hardness and sufficient ductility to withstand extreme shocks and loads. It is recommended to be used as bushes, bearing bushes, gaskets, inserts, piston parts, nuts and sliders.
