- tensile strength not less than 170 MPa;
- relative elongation (A10) - not less than 25%.
Specific electrical resistance at a temperature of +20°C is not more than 0.01724 Ohm.mm2/m.
The surface of the profiles must be clean, without metallurgical defects and mechanical damage.
Profiles must pass the "hydrogen embrittlement" test.
Profiles must be airtight.
Profiles must withstand bending at an angle of up to 90° when heated in the temperature range from 20°C to 700°C.
The inner diameter of the coil must be at least 900 mm.
The ends of the tubes in the coil should not have any deformations, they should have an even perpendicular cut, made with a milling cutter or saw.
Cracks from the inner surface of the tubes towards the corners of the square of the outer surface of the tube are not allowed.
The inner surface of the tubes must be smooth, without scales.
The OF-OK used in our hollow conductors is cast in our own
foundry in electric furnaces using selected high purity raw materials.
This means we can control the whole manufacturing process from
casting to signing the inspection certification, and ensure the
consistency of our product from batch to batch.
Our long history in making hollow conductors has given us thousands
of tools for creating the most sizes of conductors within very short
time scales. We can also supply conductors in small quantities for
testing and prototyping purposes.
