Crystallization wheel is also called casting wheel, it is a vital part of copper and aluminum rod continuous casting and rolling production line, it should have good heat dissipation and thermal fatigue resistance characteristics, its quality is the key to determine whether copper and aluminum rod production line can achieve high quality and high yield. The working principle of the crystallization wheel is to pour molten copper and aluminum liquid to the specified temperature into the rotating wheel groove, crystallize under the continuous injection of internal and external cooling water, cast copper and aluminum rod billets, and then enter the rolling mill to roll the required copper rod and aluminum rod.
The crystallization wheel assembly structure includes a casting groove for the wheel body and the outer perimeter wall of the wheel, and a metal filler is inserted in the wheel body between the inner side wall of the casting groove and the outer side wall of the wheel body. The heat transfer coefficient of the metal filler material is lower than that of the wheel body material, and the metal filler extends out of the inner perimeter wall of the wheel body. The wheel body is arranged between two turntables, and the inner side of the outer edge of the turntable is provided with a step surface suitable for the inner wall of the wheel body and the inner wall of the metal filler. The metal filler and the turntable are welded together to assemble the wheel body, metal filler and the turntable into a whole.
